About the author of Alaska State Bank Advocate

I have been writing and distributing the United Alaska Campaigner economics newsletter and related published articles since 1984 and most of my adult life has been devoted to the process of learning what I must know to continue writing.

My readers know that I have a never-ending passion for history and industrial science and always put my writing in historical context and promote industrial technologies.

For employment, I followed in the path of my father and grandfather and became a third generation journeyman union ironworker. I helped build my 1st industrial building when I was 18-years old and in my 33 years as an ironworker I became one of Alaska’s leading experts on industrial bridge-crane building construction and design. My greatest joy has been to tour all over Alaska and leave behind giant steel and concrete structures wherever I go.

In the winters I would travel to the States to build a few buildings and participate in political events. Over the years I had the opportunity to tour many industrial facilities and talk to engineers all over our nation so I could include what I learned in my newsletter and make contributions to the Alaskan economy.

I have never been paid to write my newsletter and have made many sacrifices in my personal life to continue this process. My reward will be someday when a future historian will say that I got my facts right and I offered workable solutions to the onrushing world depression.

In 2017, I was asked by Representative Chris Tuck to rewrite the never-passed Alaska State Bank House Bill 364 to comply with the requirements of an economic development bank using the best practices of other time-proven development banks. As an effort to promote this legislation I created the Facebook page Alaska State Bank Advocate.

Like this Facebook page and visit my Facebook timeline and together we will work to become better people and help others to become more creative and productive through creating the new Alaska State Bank.
